Groovy was the only pup of the litter that ended up being accessible to be shown and finished.
Unfortunately, an accident while hiking resulted in his early demise.
We we fortunate enough to have already collected semen on Groovy, so he is available through ICSB Oregon.
Groovy had an incredible temperament and NEVER met a dog, intact or not, basenji or other,
that he did not like. He even heartily accepted a cat into his home at the age of 5 years old... what a trooper!
Groovy's first points were a 5-point major with novice handler, Dan Bellaire, by going Winners Dog and Best of Winners
from the 6-9 months puppy class at the Evergreen Basenji Club in 2000.
Groovy finished his bench Championship with a major and going Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and
Best Bred By Exhibitor at the Willamette Valley Basenji Club in January 2004.
His temperament and attitude was loved by all and he will always be in our hearts.
